Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Coastart collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can contact us about your data.

Last updated: May 18, 2026

1. Information we collect

When you submit a project request, we collect your name, email, optional company name, message, source, and submission time.

If you purchase through Stripe, Stripe processes payment details and may share checkout information with us, including customer email, package metadata, amount, payment status, and Stripe session ID.

The site includes a page-view tracking endpoint that can store page path, referrer, timestamp, and a hashed version of your IP address. We use the hash to avoid storing raw IP addresses.

2. How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, prepare project recommendations, deliver purchased services, provide support, improve website performance, measure demand, prevent abuse, and keep business records required for accounting and legal compliance.

3. Sharing and processors

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the site and business, including payment processors, hosting providers, database providers, email tools, analytics infrastructure, and professional advisors.

4. Retention

Contact inquiries are generally retained for up to 12 months unless they become part of an active client relationship or must be retained for legal, tax, or dispute reasons.

Analytics records are generally retained for up to 12 months. Payment and invoice records may be retained longer when required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations.

5. Cookies and analytics

We may use first-party analytics to understand which pages are viewed and how visitors find the site. If cookie-based or consent-required tracking is enabled, the site should present a consent choice before non-essential tracking runs.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet service can guarantee complete security, but we limit access to project inquiries, analytics, and payment records to authorized administrative users.

7. Your choices

You can request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal information by contacting [email protected]. We may need to keep certain records where required by law, payment disputes, accounting rules, or legitimate business obligations.

8. Contact

Privacy questions and data requests can be sent to [email protected].
